HAGGARDo Versoza, So Why Not Go To Mr. Jones?

Windang / Ngarag / Haggard

So   Person A suggested why not go to Mr. Jones. He wanted milkshake, milkshake from Mr. Jones, so off  we go to Mr. Jones.

The Green Garden (For Mr. Jones’ Healthy Friends) PhP 375

Fresh arugula and organic mixed greens, grapes, cherry tomatoes, oranges, kalamata olives, feta cheese, shallots, toasted walnuts & herb raspberry walnut dressing.

I say fruit-based dressing is one of the best, apart from good old balsamic vinegar/olive oil.

Wicked Truffled Mac N’ Cheese (PhP 395)

Baked with 3 types of macaroni, 4 cheeses, “Canadian Style” double smoked bacon, baby Portobello mushrooms, and green peas… drizzled with Truffle oil.

I say this is one of the better Mac N’ Cheese. One can definitely taste (or smell?) the truffle oil. I call it the nakakagutom taste. I’ll trade my Kenny Rogers Mac N’ Cheese any given day for this. Only that, PhP 52 nga lang yung sa Kenny’s.

Butterfinger Cup (PhP 250)

Butterfinger bits and chocolate syrup, topped with a dollop of peanut butter cream. In true Mr. Jones fashion, it’s served with Manila Vanilla Ice Cream, Whipped Cream plus all the fixins' with 2 Cherries served with a little extra on the side.

Do you know what that aluminum glass is for? That’s the extra blended milkshake when they crafted the beverage. Aside from this, we also love Elbert’s Cheesesteak’s Oreo Milkshake, just sharing.

And I am going back for this.

After my 40-day chocolate fast. Don’t worry, I did not drink the Butterfinger Cup.

In Summary

1. Mr. Jones can pass for the ultimate American diner. The portions are big enough, Mac N’ Cheese is cheesy enough… more than cheesy enough, and yes the milkshake.

2. The Milkshake. Did I say, its Milkshake?

3. The place is good for dining with friends and family gatherings. It’s not for romantic dates, but if you two want American goodness, this might be one of the first places you’ll want to head to.
