Kitchen's Best Desserts

Over halloween night, I and 2 friends headed to Kitchen's Best, Bonifacio Global City to have dessert after a Japanese meal at Little Tokyo. That's how we roll. Honestly, we're 3 bored souls discussing grammar rules over dinner.

Luck was on our side that night; the cafe is offering 15% off their cakes because it's Halloween! This is my first BGC branch visit and the place is as pretty and quaint as the Pasong Tamo branch. This is much bigger hence perfect for hosting celebrations with friends.

For dessert we had 3 cakes. I was not able to get the prices but I referred to munchpunch.com.

Banana Toffee Pie (PhP 95)

This is the best banoffee pie I've tasted. There is a thick toffee layer, very rich and tempered by several slices of banana.

White Chocolate Macadamia Brittle Cheesecake (PhP 180)

Also, this is one of my best cheesecakes in town. The cheesecake is not so sweet but very rich. Caramelized macadamia nuts act as a sweetener.

Purple Yam Cake (PhP 120)

Also the best ever. It's like ube sansrival only softer and tastier. The purple yam frosting tastes like ice cream and icing.

Since all of the cakes are rich, I shared a cup of Americano with Person A. The shop serves Danesi coffee and it's really good with the cakes: it's not bitter and sour and has that freshly-brewed taste.

Kitchen's Best is one of the best dessert and restaurant places in Manila. I kid you not.
